Claudia Malvenuto

Claudia Malvenuto works in algebraic combinatorics at Sapienza University of Rome. Her research includes Hopf algebras, symmetric functions and the enumeration of permutations.

Her joint work with Christophe Reutenauer introduced the Malvenuto–Reutenauer Hopf algebra. This structure connects the combinatorics of permutations with algebraic operations on shuffles and related objects.
