Felipe Cucker is an emeritus professor of mathematics at City University of Hong Kong. His research spans complexity theory, numerical analysis and the mathematical foundations of computation.
He serves on the Lie–Størmer Center’s Scientific Advisory Board. His work with Steve Smale studies condition numbers and the complexity of numerical algorithms; he co-authored Condition in 2013. He has also chaired Foundations of Computational Mathematics.
