Research & background
Kurusch Ebrahimi-Fard is a professor of mathematics at NTNU. His research connects algebraic combinatorics, stochastic calculus and the foundations of numerical analysis.
He studies Hopf algebras and their applications in renormalisation, rough path theory and numerical methods. His work examines common algebraic structures in quantum field theory and the numerical analysis of differential equations.
