Background
Lise Øvreås is a professor of microbiology at the University of Bergen. Her work also encompasses research leadership and Norwegian science policy.
She serves on the Lie–Størmer Center’s Board of Directors. Her experience includes leadership of the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters and service on scientific advisory boards and research committees.
